WhisperKOOL solves the most stubborn of small cellar cooling roadblocks. This compact system cools up to 500 cubic feet with the compressor in a remote location and the evaporator (cold side) mounted in the cellar. Since space in a small cellar is vital, the Platinum Mini-Split offers a compact size paired with powerful efficiency. The unit is equipped with our Platinum Series controller, which utilizes Advanced System Protection Technology. This features a series of strategically placed monitoring probes, which ensure efficient performance and long cooling unit life. The controller is easy to operate and has features such as adjustable humidity control, energy-saving modes, quick chill mode, and an anti-frost function. The Platinum Mini-Split allows anyone to have a top-quality wine cellar.
Improved Design
Our Platinum Mini Split system has been redesigned for easier care and maintenance. We've moved the evaporator coil to a new location and created a unit that can be maintained without removing it from the wall. This improved design will make servicing the system easier and maintain peak operating conditions.

Upgrades
Active Humidity Option:
Our new Active Humidity feature carefully measures the volume of moisture needed to raise the relative humidity within the cellar to the desired level. This design utilizes Intermittent Mist Injection Technology, which eliminates using pads or filters that can mold over time. Easy to install and effortless, simply connect a soft water source to the unit, install the humidistat, and you are ready to go. This optional integrated system must be specified when ordering the unit. For cellars with cooling units already installed, customers can select our stand-alone system, which offers the same technology in a small but effective package.

24V Thermostat Conversion Kit (Option)
The new 24-volt thermostat conversion kit for WhisperKOOL split systems** is the latest technology to manage and monitor your wine cellar environment with WhisperKOOL.
- Utilize the industry-leading technology from major manufacturers to monitor the environment of your cellar (see individual thermostat manufacturers' features and benefits for details).
- Connect your thermostat to Wi‑Fi to control the temperature from your phone, tablet, or laptop.
- Monitor temperature and humidity through smartphones.

- Set alarm notifications.
- View your cellar conditions from your cellular device.
The use of the 24-volt thermostat conversion kit eliminates the thermostat normally included with the system and allows your contractor to select, purchase, and install the thermostat technology of your choice, including but not limited to:
- Nest
- Ecobee
- Honeywell
**PLEASE NOTE** Not utilizing the thermostat from WhisperKOOL also eliminates the use of the bottle probe. WhisperKOOL does not provide SMART thermostats. Those must be purchased separately. WhisperKOOL customer service staff does not provide technical support for the customer's selected thermostat.
The 24-volt Thermostat conversion kit is currently available as an option for all Platinum and Ceiling Mount Split System models.
Digital Thermostat Temperature Differential
- The WhisperKOOL split system is designed with a 55-degree temperature differential. This means the unit can operate correctly even if the ambient temperature outside (or wherever the condenser unit is mounted) is 110 degrees. This is a significant improvement over most cooling units designed for wine storage.
- The system includes both the evaporator and condenser units.
- The WhisperKOOL split cooling system requires professional installation by a licensed refrigeration technician. The contents of this system do not include a line set.
Additional Info
The Split System is often the most efficient way to cool a cellar. Cooling unit condensers are typically noisy and require significant space for ventilation, in most cases the cellar location does not include an area for these functions. By splitting the cooling system, the condenser can be placed in a space better suited for heat and noise dissipation while the quiet evaporator is inside or near the cellar. A licensed HVAC/R technician is required for the installation.

Warranty
Please have the technician complete and send the Split System Start-Up Checklist to activate warranty coverage.
A limited 2-year parts and labor / 5-year compressor warranty is offered with all of our cooling units/systems at their date of purchase. All warranty claims must be filed directly through WhisperKool customer service (800) 343-9463 (ext. 799). We provide warranty repairs at our manufacturing facility in Stockton, CA, or, with prior permission from WhisperKOOL, by a licensed HVAC/R technician. In the event a unit is not reparable in the field and is still under warranty, we will cover shipping costs (excluding customs fees and duties).
The limited warranty applies only to wine cooling units purchased from the factory or an authorized dealer. Damage caused by others or beyond the control of WhisperKOOL shall not be considered defects in material or workmanship and is not covered by the warranty. The limited warranty does not cover any parts or labor to correct any defect caused by negligence, commercial use, accident, maintenance, installation, service/repair, or improper use.
