Split system wine cellar cooling units and refrigeration systems are unique from the other type of cooling units with the evaporator and condenser placed in different locations. The evaporator is placed in the wine cellar while the condenser runs outside of the cellar. This isolates the noise generated by the condenser when running and expands your options for bigger stronger cooling systems necessary for larger wine cellars. Split system wine cellar cooling units are available in ducted (ductable) and ductless options. The mounting options available for split system cooling units are rack or ceiling mounted variations.

Ducted wine cellar cooling units are connected to an opening in the cellar wall or ceiling with ducting. The opening is covered with a grille to minimize visual impact and maximize the beauty of the wine cellar. Ducted cooling units allow for more placement options freeing more space in the wine cellar for additional wine racks and wine storage. These cooling units are great options for smaller wine cellars where space may be in short supply or remote placement is necessary.
